- Brad is a 1978 graduate of Newark High School. Brad is a life long resident of Licking County. Brad resides in Newark with his wife of 28 years, Kathy, and their youngest daughter, Hayley. Their son, Bradley, is a third year student at Otterbein College. Their oldest daughter, Lindsay, resides in Dresden with her husband, Joshua, and their four children.

Brad was a Personnel Manager at a local restaurant from 1979-1991.
Brad started his public service in 1991 as a Deputy Auditor in the Licking County Auditor’s office where he worked on budgets for villages, townships, cities, schools, and libraries.
In 1994, Brad served as Chief Deputy of Licking County Common Pleas Court Clerk’s Office overseeing tens of thousands of Criminal, Civil, and Court of Appeals cases.
In 2002, Brad served as Chief Deputy of Licking County Municipal Court under retired Clerk Larry Brown. Brad worked with the current municipal court judges to create a user-friendly web site.
Brad was elected as a Newark City Councilman in 1997 and 1999 respectfully. Brad served on the Capital Improvement Ways & Means Safety Committee.
Elected as Licking County Commissioner in 2009 and currently serves as Vice-President of the Board of Commissioners.

Brad is also an active member of his community. He is affiliated with the Licking County Township Association, the Newark and Pataskala Area Chamber of Commerce, the Newark Lions Club and the Newark Maennerchor. Brad has volunteered with the Licking County Y.M.C.A. as a coach and a referee. He also has volunteered for the Visually Impaired and the Epilepsy Association.
