Detective Division Mission Statement:
 
The mission of the Licking County Sheriff's Office Detective Division is to enhance the quality of life for the citizens of Licking County by providing a safer community in which to live through the identification and deterrence of criminal activity. The role of the Detective Division is to combat crime by the provision of prompt, diligent, and proactive investigations while respecting the rights of the citizens of Licking County. The Detective Division accomplishes this mission by maximizing the use of traditional investigative techniques in combination with the most current technological resources available. The Detective Division works in close cooperation with other internal divisions of the Licking County Sheriff's Office, as well as other local, state, and Federal law enforcement agencies to accomplish its ultimate goal of successful response to the needs of the citizens of Licking County.
