Public Hearing: Considering Designation of a Restricted Area to Prohibit the Construction of Large Solar Facilities in Etna Township

In the Matter of Setting a Public Hearing to Consider the Designation of a Restricted Area to Prohibit the Construction of Large Solar Facilities in Etna Township, Licking County according to ORC 303.58.

The Etna Township Trustees, by way of its Resolution 24-01-16-03, requested the Board of Licking County Commissioners designate all of the unincorporated area of Etna Township as a restricted area so as to prohibit the construction of large solar facilities as that phrase is defined under R.C. § 303.58 R.C. § 4906.01 and used in R.C. § 303.57 et. seq.

R.C. § 303.58 requires the Board to hold a public meeting and provide notices of such special meeting, therefore, the Board hereby schedules a special meeting for Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at the Donald D. Hill County Administration Building, 20 South Second Street, Newark, Ohio.
